 Nepal - Jumla to Phoksundo River
For various reasons, it's taken some time to me to obtain back once again to this. Formerly I showed some pictures from the Jumla to Rara Lake trek (& reunite). We managed to move on towards Dunai and Phoksundo Lake (still another 14 days) once we returned back again to Jumla. This is actually the Dolpo region which is based on a rain shadow, ergo it's much dryer compared to Rara Lake area. A number of you might have seen this area in a film called Himalaya. It's really worth looking at only for the incredible cinematography alone, if it hasn't been seen by you. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Himalaya_( film) I've several good pictures of local community people an such like which I'll complete with when I've got them together. Brian Pretty common homes in the area.
         Thulo Water. Very dry and dusty in this area. No less beautiful though.     Suli Gaad Water
