Does someone have a gym-related website? Is Adsense a good idea for monetizing fitness portals?

In my case it's about 2-3 times the average I get from other french sites. In english of course the CPC will be higher, but I guess the relationship/correlation with average cpc will be about the same.

It is not as high as the other niches which involve directly money, but still it's a busy market, so of course it is interesting cpc wise, I don't know why dcristo said the contrary, probably as a joke since it is so obviously a good paying niche.. But anyway, the problem with niches that pay higher than average is that the competition between webmasters is also higher.. But if you don't mind competition and think you have something more to bring to the table with your site (added-value) then it's not a bad option. Of course if your only plan is to have articles about fitness, then you're competiting with 95% of the other webmasters on the same level, not wise.. :-)

Have you had a look at the google keyword tool? This can give you an idea of what advertisers are paying per click, in general, you can see about 25% of what they pay per click.

On fitness sites it's mostly used as supplemental income anyway, because your primarily promoting affiliate products.

Beachbody affiliate program throug CJ and there are few other related affiliate programs in CJ.
