Colin
I have spent 62 years finding out I am not that good at anything. Does not stop me from enjoying it though. Who was it said that golf spoilt a good walk. Oscar Wilde?
My heart surgeon told me to drink red wine as it was good for me. Who am I to argue.

In the office (now 10.00 am) and raring to go. HAHAHA

Have not been on the forum so much lately due to re hash of cottage in preperation for Christmas and the American invasion, my youngests graduation, and work.

Must get a dog, as this country seems to be going to them.

Dustbins not emptied this morning. Some strikers hanging about the streets.

No change there then

Colin, maybe you'd be better off becoming a night owl, then you'd be around same time as us in the mother country; seeing as how I was still awake at 3am, I didn't surface until 10am so I missed connecting with you.

- - it happens.

My daughter has just installed skype so hopefully I will get to chat to some of you face to face. Now there's a treat for you.

Hey Teddy, there are a couple people with skype here, so I'm sure you'll find someone to chat to.

Colin, bear in mind that when you're eating lunch in NZ @ 2 p.m., we (some of us) in Europe have already had supper and are sleeping (or at least we should be), as you're 12 hrs ahead of us.

Br. Colin,

What is "eating" you now? Please, share with us........Let me put it to you this way - A traditional Samoan way to solve a problem is this: A resident of the local Village goes to see the Village Elder. He talks with the Elder, the Elder then calls the whole Village to a meeting. The resident then speaks to all those assembled - Problem solved.

I made this comment after much soul searching and bitter anguish and I was in a experimental and exploratory way trying to stumble upon a logical reason (not that any of my stumbling are illogical) for the removal or relegation of you much adored previous avatar which so admirably and if I might add accurately depicted your worldly and wise character I do find your latest avatar although of the highest order of a classical and steadfast nature somewhat lacking but only slightly in the interpretation of your much admired self. I do hope most sincerely that this will not offend your esteemed person and would in no circumstances expect you to spend any of your most valuable time in making a reply to this most unworthy citizen

reiseebup 12-03-2011 04:56 AM

I suppose I could have just said “I prefer your last Avatar” but why use only 5 words when there are so many out there just waiting to be used.

A Colin, so eloquent!
