Default Tax relief for Botox?
I'm trying to get information as to whether there's any tax relief for Botox treatment that's not cosmetic
But I'm wondering would it cover Botox for the condition Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). My daughter suffers from this condition and it's really holding her back in life, both socially and academically at school. I think the average costs are around €500 per session, which will have to be done each year.

Would it not go in under medical expenses, has it being recommended by her doctor.

I know it's an old topic, but I want to chime in. I'm sorry to hear about your daughter's condition. As for tax relief for Botox treatment, the Revenue website states that it's excluded as a qualifying expense. However, I would recommend contacting the Revenue directly for clarification on whether Botox treatment for Hyperhidrosis would qualify for tax relief. Otherwise, try contacting another place, like https://onsitemedspa.com/services/bo...in-bel-air-ca/. Best of luck to you and your daughter!
