I wish I didn't have that issue, but it's happening
I've had the problem ever since spending most of my childhood on a bicycle.

What you squat and deadlift right now?
I don't know. I haven't really been seriously doing those lifts for some time because I expected to go to OCS in January. Been running and doing calisthenics.

Running marathons and now lifting...

better watch out, MRT. You're going to turn into a fatass
I already am a fatass. I mean I'm 5'9", 190 lbs, and have a belly and love handles on me. I'm actually kind of proud of the fact that I might be aesthetically out of shape, but physically I feel good and am stronger than I was years ago.

I remember when I was 34x32. I was not happy with my fatassness.
I'm that size, though... didn't realize size means so little with respect to someone's shape.

You know, people do come in a range of different shapes and sizes. And it is true that the media do not acknowledge this. But we all think we know best, don't we? I've never seen such a general level of arrogance as at this place.

Genetics count for little if they aren't passed on, virgin.
Group health is enhanced by this fact.

I'm sorry I don't argue with women or 'men' the size of women.
I note that you debate on Poly without first asking the gender and size of your adversaries. It is indeed very likely that you do argue with women and 'men' the size of women. If you want to argue with this, then you must first ask me my gender and size.

Ass to grass. My deadlift sucks because my grip strength sucks.
Nice. Surprised your deadlift isn't a lot better then. I don't think I have strong grip but I probably do with all the damn pullups I do. You try a mix grip? Chalk?

Albie's shocking sexism on this thread presents a pretty huge clue as to why, despite having a body most men would wish for, he's never been laid and is never likely to either...!

Right, so now I'm at 30", I'm wondering if I can get back to a 28" waist when I was 18-20? I figure it's easily doable as I really haven't put too much of an effort into my exercise so far - if I double my effort again, which would still only mean averaging going to the gym about 3 times a week, I reckon I could be there with the return of the long lost six pack at the same time!

My thighs get very constrained in pants. How bad it is varies but I haven't fit comfortably into non-sweat pants in a few years. The waist isn't the problem. The ratio of the waist to the thigh openings in pants is against me.

And 30" waist? That is elf-like.
carpenter and baggy fit pants is the answer
