While on Youtube I saw an ad for a film called "Troll Hunter" WTF!!?? Never heard anything about this film. Is it only in the US atm? From what I saw it looked ok, mind you my track-record with films isn't something to be shouted out about.

Anyone seen this?

Ummm, there are tons of direct to video releases every week. Did you know the sequel to that Uwe Boll Dungeon Siege movie came out last week? I'd ask you not waste your time with them if you can.

My taste in films can be crap at the best of times, but i refuse to watch anything that Uwe Boll has directed...

Actually was going to get Farcry but then decided i'd rather eat my own **** than watch that.

Probably watch Troll Hunter though and keep the trolling going in this thread.

Troll hunter is one of those movies that takes the subject very serious.
In this case trolls.

I watched it and for me it never went into the absurd and was done very good!
While its video from a handheld camera; alot of times you will forget that.
Enjoyed it alot. If you liked the original " Let the right one in" then you'll prob like this one.

And nothing like "Rare Exports" which tried something like this but i hated.

That is a awesome movie! I am surprised you have not heard about it. Came out two years ago now I think. It is on Netflix and even had a trailer on apples website (thats where I first saw it)

Michael Bay is making it. The only guy they could find that would have a shakier image and show even less Troll since he has a model standing in for the chick. Also the hunting is in LA now so she can wear a bikini. And at a point the military save us from the evil Trolls

A friend of mine who really likes bad movies saw Troll Hunter a while ago and hasn't stopped talking about how much he enjoyed it.

It is what it is. It's a faux documentary set in Norway about trolls. Its not going to blow your mind, unless you're a child.

It's actually being remade by the guy who produced and directed the recent Harry Potter films.
