Default Portal 2 (Other Games is dead)
I'm waiting til the price falls. Portal was fun, but I can't see it being a $50 game alone.

Everyone I know already "beat" it the first day they got it, which is ridiculous for a $50 game.

Another reason to wait until I'm less busy.

The other problem is I need two copies, so I can play co-op with the SO.

Definitely worth the $50, but YMMV.

Well, I have quite a full calendar of EU financed business trips this year, which appears to have become a series of glorified tourism stops punctuated by the odd blah-blah...

And I get to live in Cardiff.

You're a doctor. And your wife churns out a new novel like every 2 months. You got money, man, no need to hide it.
Exactly how much money do you think a primary-care pediatrician makes, when seeing primarily urban kids on Medicaid? Exactly how much money do you think a paperback novelist makes per book when published by a small imprint? I'm genuinely curious how out of whack you are with reality.

You don't have kids, right?
You don't have college and medical school loans and malpractice insurance, right?

I don't have the patience. Kids are poor investments anyway.
I think you would make a great dad or mom

It's a fact that whiter skin is better. Ask docfeelgood or skin-dying Asians or Michael Jackson.

Dude, do you even read the article? It says right there that people with dark skin are less likely to get it but because it's so rarely diagnosed (or diagnosed too late), people are more likely to die.

Although the disease is less common, when it does occur it is typically more aggressive and diagnosed later, which leads to more deaths, they explain.
