Remember almost a week age I posted THIS THREAD with some teaser information and screen shots from my latest film project? Well this is it! [thumbup]

Okay, so it may not be the trailer of the century, but for my Fiance and I it pretty much is! You know when some people make Engagement Party invitations they might write out some fancy cards or something like that? Well we decided to make a frikken movie trailer! It's got romance, guns, explosions, aliens, space-ships, lasers, fire, swords.... every frikken thing.

So how have to distributed your invitations? On DVD? Was the actual engagement party date and location in the movie (just cut out for youtube)?

We distributed them on DVD via post, with the cover art and disc art to all the guests. The date is on the trailer, but the rest of the information is on the DVD-jacket. The Engagement Party itself will be themes like a movie premiere for The Engagement.

We met back in high school but were merely acquaintances, and then after school we did not see each-other for like 6 years. then we both re-connected on Facebook and really hit it off. Hence the shot in the trailer where just before it says "he was given a second chance" she looks over at the notebook computer. We've been dating for almost 2 years, and yes we were both lucky. Especially since she was the beauty and I was the geek haha! [rofl]

Yes well, I'm sure you were the one to suggest you guys needed to have aliens, lasers and explosions for you engagement. Had it been left to only Mel I'm sure the outcome might have been a tad less nerdy. [rofl]

Well done! Great effects.
Somehow though it still has a cheapish feel to it (not saying i can do better) but i'm not sure what it is.

Maybe too much zoom?
Maybe needs some more filtering to achieve cinematic feel with blur/contrast/brightness etc

Maybe just easy black bars on top and bottom?
Oh and that 'enemy' doesn't look come across like a bad guy at ALL
