Slow Down the Wheels
Hey,
I just moved back home to Manhattan and got this apartment where my office floor is on a slant. Now my office chair goes flying downhill. Some guy said to use 'stoppers' to find them in a hardware store. I googled stoppers and chair casters, etc. but only see new wheels and casters, nothing about slowing down the wheels. Is there any type of chair mat that that would make the wheels more sluggish? TIA |

Your office chair is most likely equipped with brakes, as you can see in the above photo. Most decent chairs are equipped with power brakes... so if you are just starting out using them, tap lightly until you get the feel of it. (Your name suggests you are a female, and well gosh, I don't mean to offend, but we know how women are with these things.) -- BTW: Another thing that I find particularly helpful to have is GPS. There are some mornings when it's really a life saver. |
I never needed to use the brakes before. I found them butThanks!
Of course you would need GPS being a man, no offense.http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/tongue.png |
