if you are launching cargo into space orbit. the white knight is a suborbital plane-rocket, it is only going high enough to let you have a feeling of space so you don't really have to worry about entering a bad orbit since you wouldn't be able to reach it anyway. |

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worl...spaceship.html
For the first time Sir Richard revealed that the company is in talks with local authorities, the British government and the Civil Aviation Authority to launch spaceflights from the UK. Lossiemouth is one of a number of locations – including two in Sweden – where the spaceship will launch its two-hour flights from as early as 2010. Although not revealing the exact location, a Virgin spokesman later said that it was on British government owned land outside of the town. since lossie is nerly empty nowadys it would bring new work - lets hope the labour government arn`t as crap as they usually are in this matter. |

Isnt it easier to place all these space ports somewhere near the equator? if you are launching cargo into space orbit. the white knight is a suborbital plane-rocket, it is only going high enough to let you have a feeling of space so you don't really have to worry about entering a bad orbit since you wouldn't be able to reach it anyway.
