Mad Men
Boardwalk Empire Suits (pretty cool, and funny. and the girl is damn hot) Awake (nice concept, but there are some inconsistencies) and, ofcourse Breaking Bad. I seriously can't remember who recommended it to me here on FM but I am indebted to you forever. Hands down the best tv show I have ever watched. After watching up to the episode where (mini spoiler) he shaves his head and things really start to get effed up , I finished season 1-3 within a week. season 4 only lasted longer because I paced myself after realizing that season 5 is still in the works. But before BB, Mad Men was my all time favourite.. perhaps I can say they are a very close tie in my book. |

You've never seen a dark comedy before?? Pissed me off. --- Post Update --- Louie is good. Think Seinfeld, except rated R, and Louis C K is the comedian = win. However, as much as I love the show and the star (he is, by far, my favorite comedian): that show has 0 replay value. I get so bored watching an episode over. As far as my recommendations go (in no order):

There is not so much any character development (at least in the normal sense) in Louie. It is more about the train wreck that he himself causes or finds himself in. So, yeah, I can see the lack of replay value.
There really are not too many shows I would intentionally watch again. Sure, I have seen every episode of Mash in reruns... multiple times but i can only name a few that I purposefully watched multiple times BSG,Lost,The Wire. Mind you, that is a combined 15 years of programming ![]() |

The Prisoner (1967). Don't know if you can find those anywhere to view online or not, I had to buy the boxed set. Great stuff. The recent remake with Jim Caviezel and Ian McKellan was interesting in its own way too...
Speaking of Jim, another vote for "Person of Interest". I never tire of watching The Venture Bros. either. If I'm flipping stations and it's on a channel, that's where I'm stopping lol. |

It is a "canned laughter", nationally-syndicated, primetime American TV show that plays on a major network. It is catered to the lowest common denominator - I would rather stare at a blank screen. As to Archer. Huge fan. |
