Apple is paying some random forum members to praise them.

It's the only explanation I have.

People love mobile phones and Apple is a very popular vendor of mobile phones that is due to announce a highly anticipated new model next week? Seems reasonable.

It's been slowly rising for months. Basically they are never out the news + there's quite a few users at FM who now use Apple products (practically unheard of 5 years ago and totally unheard of 8 years ago), couple that with a forum primarily filled with middle aged men who still live with their mothers and hate apple and you have lots of bickering.

There were Apple threads back then. There was a legendary video who played games on his Mac; like Photoshop, in the stylised adverts Apple did back then. And ones where people dropped their Macs from 100 metres.

It doesn't surprise anyone that Apple is always posted about when their advertising budget is from the same pool of funds as their litigation cash - litigation is a cheap way to get press coverage and winning skirmishes against Samsung boosts their image to consumersas an innovative and creative company. People with their own brain realise it's false.

I'd wager a fair amount that regardless of which "pool" anything came from, a very mass majority of their consumers could not be remotely bothered with any of the litigation nor see it affect their "innovation or creative aspect" of the company in any way shape or form.

Mobiles are the new 'PC's', our desktops are already overpowered for most tasks we use them for, and it's just quite cool having a phone/tablet at the moment
