Really? I think it tastes well better. I like the e numbers though!

You can get a proper cup of tea but it's hard to come by! Where have you tried eating? the egg and I or iHop are great for breakfast.

Tetley sell a breakfast tea over there. Try target, walmart or vons.

You most likely weren't eating good food. Also, you are from the UK, you can't talk about bad food.

It's dead leaves steeped in boiled water. It's the same every where.

Try some American microbrews. They're better than anything you'll find at home.

It's the water, same reason people think Guinness taste better in Ireland.

Drink too much and you'll turn into a murdering immigrate.

It isn't, they aren't.

How long did it take you to try every kind of tea and beer in the world?

To get a good cup of tea at our house in Florida I installed an under sink RO water filter system, the difference is insane! Going from almost 350 TDS water to under 10 TDS water is what makes all the difference when making tea
The amount of chemicals they put in the water is disgusting.

And yes the Twinings that you can buy in the USA tastes different so I always pack a few of the big packs when I fly out. I also hate the little single pack bags on string, got to have the full size ones!

He's right, though. You haven't tasted a good IPA or a proper Saison until you have visited the States.

My experience of confectionery in the US is patchy, but some I really liked. We get used to the tastes we grow up with. To suggest English food is terrible is stupid.

No he's not. He's just showing his usual anti-British xenophobia.

Indeed.

I have visited the states and I have tasted a good IPA there. They are very good, but no better than other places in the world.

In technical terms, most of it is....what excellent British dish can you put forward?

Just because it's tasty doesn't mean it's actually great food.
