Sorry, I am not up to date on this post. So, I will only reply to the first post. =D

I had the same problem couple years back. But you go to the dentist. They remove my rotten tooth, not sure did they cut my gums. But once the rotten tooth was out, then the gums will slowly heal. I was able to really eat hard food for 3-4 weeks. Very said. Q_Q..

It's really weird eating on the side a tooth is out. I'm only just starting to now about three months after it came out.
