Default 4th UFO sighting this year....
Again around where I work, this time as I was driving in at 8:50am. Stopped at some traffic lights and directly ahead, middle of a perfectly clear blue sky was a point of light, 10-20 times brighter than any star, slowly moving right to left. As I saw it the lights turned green and I had to turn to the left to carry on.

I pulled up on the pavement and got out of my car, there were half a dozen other people stood there staring at this light. I got my phone out, looked down to turn it to camera, set it to max resolution, heard some people saying "Jesus, what the hell?" and when I looked up again it was gone. Apparently it just shot off like a bullet straight up....

Weird stuff...

Near a military base. It's just odd because each time it's been a bright light in the sky that vanishes. In each case there's been nothing in the sky after it's gone, no plane or helicopters, nothing.

I was asking because landing lights can be very bright, even miles away and, if the aircraft changes course, they can seem to vanish quite suddenly. If the aircraft is light coloured it can then be very hard to see.

It's certainly possible. At this point I can't say with any confidence what it was and I didn't personally witness it shooting straight up "like a bullet" as the other people said.

Probably a microcopter or something similar.
I own one and in the dark it looks very strange if you've never seen one before:

They can shoot up really quick and have all kinds of different led color combinations...

It wasn't dark, it was bright with a clear sky and no cloud cover. Also, as said before, the sky was totally empty once the light disappeared.

Even during daytime they can carry very bright led lights. From a distance, it could look like one bright light. It's possible to switch these on or off via a transmitter...

I thought I saw a black triangle once during the day, clear skies no clouds, on my way to work, I was floored, but then the airplane angled and I could see its wings. I couldn't believe it, stupid plane looking like something out of a sci-fi show at a certain angle.

The one with this asshat in it?

Personally I seriously doubt what I saw was an interstellar space craft. My own thought is it was likely a plane flying at just the right angle to reflect the sun directly towards where we were standing and sufficiently far away that when it turned slightly it seemed to disappear. I also suspect that the other people there just saw it disappear and just collectively "thought" they saw it shoot up like a bullet.

LOL yeh that bloke is a bit of a bellend but a lot of the other people on it are good.....

I found the series interesting and it is an interesting perspective.... And not entirely implausable.... Tbh it is more realistic then what religeon says lol.

If you look at how big space is and how many "earth like planets" their probably are then it is VERY likely that there is actually life on other planets.... Whether they have mastered space travel and actually travelled to planet earth is a different story...
