I know there are a few Hippeastrum growers here...

I am wondering if anyone knows if I can purchase bulbs now (intended for blooming for Christmas) and some how hold them to be forced next summer for a backyard party?

Why not get the standard Dutch Amaryllis that bloom in the spring? Most catalogs that I receive have them divided betweeen Christmas bloomers and Spring bloomers. FYI.
