Default Playing 100 Rounds In One Golf Season
I'd never really considered it until this year, but GHIN keeps track of the number of rounds played and at the start of this year, I decided to make 100 rounds my goal by the end of the year.

Currently I'm at 83 of 100 with time running out on the Ohio golf season, but I think I should be able to achieve what I set out to accomplish. At four hours a round, that puts me at 400 hours by the time I'm done with it, which totals 16.67 days worth of golf this season. Awesome.

Anyone else set a goal this year? Did you achieve it?

I didn't actually, but that's a good idea. I think when the new year comes yet again, I'll have to do that. 100 rounds is a ton dude, awesome that you can play that much.

That's a lot to me. Most I ever played was low 60's. This year only low 30's because of work and my daughter playing. I watch her when I used to play.

It is a lot, and it's been a ton of work.. Quite a few times going 'just to keep the goal in reach' which is kind of good and kind of bad haha.. That said, it had definitely been worth it.

100 rounds is great - well done.

Have you seen any improvements or changes in your game as a result of playing so much?

Dang man, thats a lot of rounds! I think I am in the 40s or 50s I cant remember. This is the most I have golfed in a year in a long time, but thats awesome that you can get out for that many rounds. I am pretty sure my rounds will drop atleast in half next year, but thats ok. It will be worth it and when the youngins get older guess where we will be

My confidence is way up, just having the trust in my swing rather than trying too hard.. Also, my attitude.. Knowing that there's always tomorrow (often times quite literally) has been huge for me, not getting down on myself and just loving the experience.

Skill wise, I've been pretty level.. My ball striking has gotten a bit more consistent and my short game around the green has definitely improved.

I gotta be pretty close as well, especially if I count the pre april rounds here, past 2 weeks I've barely played but should still be able to squeek out some more rounds to get to 100

Color me impressed with your shortened season. I clipped close to 250 a year for a 4 year stretch when I was a pro in Miami. I played every morning and sometimes at night

I will play somewhere in the ballpark of 150 rounds, but I haven't kept count.

I just checked. I am only at 41 rounds this year. Don't think I am going to make it to 100.

Easy to get to 100 when you never go to the driving range hahaha

That's unreal man.. Florida golf takes the golf season to a whole new level eh?

How's the handicap holding up to so much golf?

three rounds a day for two straight weeks basically ties us.. Get it done hahaha!

How's the handicap holding up to so much golf?
Really solid actually.. I get worn out when I play 36 in the same day, so usually my last nine is weak, but other than that it's solid.. I'm not going crazy low, but I haven't shot in the 80s since probably May which is absolutely awesome.

I'm around 50 rounds this year. Not going to make 100 I don't think, but I can't even believe that I've golfed that much.

I bet I had 100 rounds in by July Season started in March this year, and as a supply teacher at schools that end by 2:30, I play most days I work and every day I don't. even making the 100 easier this year was the complete and utter lack of rain we had this year. From start of the season to yesterday, I bet there were no more than 5 days blocked out by rain. Plus, my wife got a twilight membership this year, so there are days when I'm up early I'll go play, come home for lunch, and then we'll go out again. I bet I've had 2 a days at least 20 times this year.

Playing here in Georgia I get that pretty easily as I can play year round. So far I have 65 rounds that are counted, but I would guess I have at least 50 that are not counted such as scrambles, practice rounds where I play more than one ball or shot, tournaments where we play best ball and we don't always finish the hole. Also I am one to hit the practice range 4 to 8 times per month and I don't play on those days.

For you folks with the short seasons 100 rounds is pretty awesome.

What if you hit 100-rounds worth of shots in 20 rounds? Does that count?

Where in GHIN does it tell you how many rounds you have logged?
