I was concentrating so much on my (new) iron play that I only remembered to take one picture. Here is the view from the tee box on #3 at the course I play most often.

It's one of the easiest holes on the course at around 300-325 depending on tee and pin placements. It's a par 4 with unseen bunkers guarding left, front, and right!

Is that a barbed wire fence in the background?
Light poles I think but it does look like wire fence... I have only done a gas and go in Incirlik, heard nice things about it though

Yes there is a barbed wire fence. I should have got a pic of the Turkish soldier with his rifle guarding the fence. That is the perimeter of the base you see in the background.

Not my home course but a great looking hole that I hope to play over thanksgiving again. Number 12 at Alto Lakes in Ruidoso NM. I don't get to down hill much here in West Tex >.

Up in Washington it has been raining like crazy. So I have not been golfing lately.

I know you all think it always rains here. Really it just sprinkles a lot. No down pours. But lately it has been raining cats and dogs. And a lot colder than usual.
