Just cleaned up the clubs. I'll probably hit up the driving range a few times in the next week before getting ready to play a 9 holer.

I am not sure if any of our courses are open yet. Maybe a few chip and putts, but the nice courses wait a bit longer around here.

Yeah, the one where why my dad is a member just opened. There's one course here that's been over for about 2 weeks or so now though, they aren't quite as good there, but it's still a golf course. lol

I'm starting to play again and it's a good feeling. I am having an issue with my Saturday morning rounds. See the course is about 45 minutes away. I leave at 7:15, then we play a round that for reasons I can never figure out always takes 4.5 hours. Then we go inside to have a beer and settle the bets. By the time I get home it's 2:30. I eat lunch and then take a power nap. By the time I'm awake and alert it's after 4:00 and the entire day is shot.

Lately the idea of doing stuff all day, then sneaking off for a quick 9 at the local muni around 3:30, has become a lot more appealing.

I just finished shoveling out and now I'm watching the pros play on one of my favorite courses in the world.

That will be next week for me at Pebble Beach. Oh yeah, another foot and a half tonight/tomorrow on top of the 30". It may be a long time before we see a green again.

I can't wait to break out the sticks again. Sometimes we can get on the course in April, but there is an awful lot of snow this year.

We've got geological layers of ice, snow, ice, and snow.

Hope it all melts off.

There's a course about a half hour from me that opens if there's grass showing. Not necessarily *green* grass, but they'll open up and let you play.

Of course, the playing conditions aren't the best, but when all you want to do is play 9 and don't care, it's not a bad place to go. Plus they have bomb-ass chicken wings.
