why exactly did the rear window need to be broken out to rescue him?

because smashing out BOTH rear windows and dragging him out through the broken glass must have been easier than opening/unlocking the front door.

Maybe some money bags were stored there.
I don't think Joe Banner was anywhere near there.

Good point. Even if she didn't want to get glass on him (they said he was unconscious), why not go through the front passenger door side?

Curiouser and curiouser.

I love how everyone wants to see the guy in trouble. I personally think everyone's reading too much into it.

If he was out cold, the truck was still in gear which would mean that the doors were still locked. They lock themselves when you put it in gear no doubt, just like my truck. She was locked out.

I think it's if you go above 10 mph they lock automatically.

Mine locks when put in gear, and it's no Cadillac Escalade.

So, Tiger, how much were you planning to drop on that "Kobe Special" you were running out for at 2:30 a.m.?

Apparently not much if he was going to Zales.

Because that would be too plain!

She had to look extra cool by breaking some glass to make it seem like she is saving the damsel (Tiger) in distress.

I do not want to see him in trouble.

But seeing that this story has more holes than a stunt dummy in a "Terminator" movie, we all know that something else is behind this sh!t.

Tiger just went from one of the most beloved to possibly one of the most hated characters in less than 48 hours.

The saddest part is this is deeply personal. I know...huge public figure....but still, I just find it sad how this is strewn all about.

Was there a fight? A blow-up? I tend to think so. I tend to think he was escaping a jealous wife. Just my two cents as I have been there once or twice.

I did not get my windows smashed and I did not crash a car but still...these things happen in life and love.

The attention to it must be so dreadful and embarassing, no matter what actually happened.

Bottom line is that the minute the 911 call was made and Tiger Woods' name was involved, the story and any and all sordidness, real or otherwise, went thermonuclear.

Such is the life of Superstardom.

I dont care one way or the other about who is involved, what happened, why it happened, etc.

My only problem is that it will be absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to avoid the story. Its already everywhere.
