Some marketing guru (or team) saw Michelle as the female equivalent of Tiger Woods.

Putting her in events on the men's tour. Joke.

Now she can scarcely compete in the LPGA.

Show pony.

Wow, some of you guys are 99 kinds of bitter on this girl :P.

Personally, I like her. I absolutely love her swing. She's so flexible her body just coils to an unnatural degree on her follow through. Wish I had that kind of mobility. Bottom line is she's still just a kid. Tiger had a lot of rough rounds when he was still in college as well, and Michelle hasn't even started yet.

Danica Patrick of the LPGA. If Sorenstam couldn't compete with the men, how can they figure Michelle Wie can. Really stupid to destroy this girl's talent and confidence to make a couple bucks on a tournament.

her swing is absolutely wonderful. no doubt. she just got tons of bad advice to cash in. funny thing is, had she not gone that route and went more of a tiger or phil approach and done the younger tourney's with frequency, she would in the end, had made atleast double.

I'm on the fence about Wie. First off I have no problem with her going out on the men's tour a few times a year. She was one shot from making the cut right? I mean it's not like she shot 90. As for this situation, I've heard the speculation that she's faking but who knows? Maybe the injury is what got her to 16 over in the first place.

With that said I've heard a lot of stories about her behavior on the course. She is rude to her playing partners etc. And until the girl learns how to make big putts she will never win on any tour.

wie may not have reinjured her wrist. i believe she was at 86 or had to par out for an 86 and the lpga has a rule that if you're not a tour member and shoot an 88 in a round you can't play the rest of the year or something like that.

She tanks it again today.

She needs to sit the fuck down.

I don't see the point in trying to win now. Hone your skills, become great, then rule the LPGA world for the next 15 years and cash in.

The price she's paying by embarrassing herself in front of thousands/millions had better be worth it, because at this point in her golf career, she has to really messed up psychologically.

And the $ shes making wont be around long if she keeps this up. Pretty soon, sponsor exemptions and what not will dry up.

At least she has worked towards a goal of being a professional golfer... HOW she went about doing it is another matter, altogether.

You want to hate on some female for being a total waste, hate Paris Hilton.

She hasnt done anything.... She's pissed in the LPGA's coffee by saying she wants to play with the men.

The men dont accept her because in the LPGA events she hasnt done anything, either.

So where does she go? Q school for the PGA? She needs to disappear until she's about 22, work on her game and then take on the LPGA. If she somehow conquers that tour, then think about the PGA.

Until that time, she can just quietly go away.
And continue to make $19,5000,000.00 a year
