I get the beer aspect, but I'd say if the bag is too heavy too carry you've got too much junk in there.
Potentially, but on a hot day, sometimes carrying the bag around seems pretty daunting.

I'll probably get a round in either Saturday or Sunday. But unfortunately I don't usually schedule a round until the day of or night before.

7 wood came today. I can't tell the difference between it and a new one. $55. I'm pleased.

$55? Not bad. It won't bother you too much when you hit a bad shot and break it against a tree this way.

When I hit a bad shot usually all I do is say Fisher you are one stupid motherfucker. Golf's a hard enough game without being an idiot.
The clubs are safe, I just chew my own ass.

Well no wonder you have troubles sometimes. Your name is ryr, not Fisher. You're lecturing the wrong guy.

In my professional opinion (as a veteran of this) a good club throw is in order from here to there, only with irons though.

Though snapping a club is sometimes helpful too

And if you aren't sitting at a desk all day, been climbing ladders and working at a trade your whole life, your back tends to get easily tweaked. I carried my bag for a time, damn tough to carry beer unless someone else in the group is riding and carries it for you.

I bought a 2 wheel pull cart, it was harder on my back than carrying the bag. Then they came out with these 3 wheelers, they're great. I sold my old one for a hundred, the new powered one came today.

It's beautiful, like a hot rod for golf. I'm pissed that I have to let it charge for 24 hours. I want to get it out in the yard and tinker with it. Speaking of the yard, the cart's arrival via ups has delayed my lawn mowing by at least an hour, and I'd best get to it.

Oh and btw, people used to walk to town. They walked alongside their teams and wagons some when they carried their possessions and families west.

I'm guessing you don't own a car and either walk, jog, or ride a horse to work.

And you grow your food by following a mule drawn plow.

I still carry my bag. A couple a days ago I went out in 100 degree weather, since I hadn't touched a club for over two weeks.

Felt like I was on the Bataan death march.

Sounds like drudgery, and that's not fun.

It was not. Normally, I'm fine since I try to stay in decent shape. However lately I've also had back (sciatica) problems so this probably isn't helping.

At the same time, sitting around on my ass the previous two weeks didn't help either.

All my buds use trikes and they love them.

I took it out in the yard, put my bag on it and played with it. It almost got away from me before I got the speed turned down. Apparently it's for those who like to jog while golfing also.

It's cool as can be, I didn't really want to put it away.

No more golf purchases this year.
Outside of small stuff anyhow.
I bought a Callaway ERC 7 wood off of ebay for $55 on Wednesday, I thought it was a hell of a deal. I'd been wanting one for a while, the ball jumps off the face of my erc 3 woods.

Today I couldn't stand it any longer and bought a sun mountain electric cart on ebay. $569. Retails for $699.

I feel kind of guilty about spending the money for the electric cart, but I'll get over it.
I guess that was a lie since I've bought a new putter since then. Yesterday I bought one of those little umbrellas that cover your clubs when it rains called a drizzle stick. I bet the guy behind the counter is a drinker since he called it a swizzle stick.

Sick and tired of trying to get the bag club cover on, they never fit right.

Plus they had NXT's on sale for $19 a dozen and I bought 2 of those.
