I'm thinking of getting a new driver. I can't hit mine worth a shit. According to this article i should be getting rid of the extra stiff shft and go with something a little more forgiving.
Any suggestions? http://www.golfdigest.com/equipment/...7slicefix.html |

I think that too flexible of a shaft will cause the ball to go right.
Still yet you'd have to have a hell of a swing speed to hit an extra stiff shaft. I have a Callaway 460X with a regular shaft and a R7 quad 425 with a stiff shaft. When I'm on I hit the R7 better and longer. My pro says to use the most flexible shaft you can control in order to get your maximum distance. My next driver will be an R7 460, the one with 2 weight ports. |

On the other hand, I couldn't hit my driver worth a damn today. I hit 3 wood off the tee on the entire back 9 and shot 39 for a total of 84. I played yesterday and couldn't hit any club. I was either swinging outside in or I'd top the fkn ball. Worse game in a couple of years. |
