One of either UPS or I don't understand the correct usage of the english language.
2nd Day Air. What does that mean to you? To me it means I get it on the 2nd Day.
To UPS it means I get it on the 3rd Day.

This driver was paid for yesterday. Shipped this morning. UPS says it will be delivered Friday.

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.

Is that not 3 days, or the 3rd Day?

I'm calling DJ and bitching.

You'd better hope nobody on the board is going to bid the thing up now.

No way I would have posted it before I had won the auction.

I know how these people operate.

Have you ever used a Big Bertha? I made a bundle on Callaway stock a few years ago.

I bought myself a Great Big Bertha for my 40th birthday. $400. My son has it right now.
I've went through a ton of Callaway clubs. I bought a set of their original irons new. I still use their 3 wood and 7 wood.

So I'm glad to know that a part of the money I made on that stock came from you. If you ever get to Las Veags, I'll buy you a nice dinner.

According to Ima, Ryr doesn't put out until the 2nd date.

Well let me see what I've got over here. I'm going to keep the R7 Quad 425 as a backup and maybe let my son use it some.

Callaway 460 X, bought last summer. Regular flex graphite shaft. 10 degree.
Titleist 983E, stiff flex graphite shaft. 8.5 degree.
Callaway Big Bertha Hawkeye, stiff flex graphite shaft, 7 degree.

And what do you conclude from this club purchasing history?

Are you being led around by the company marketing gurus?

Remember the days when guys would buy one set of golf clubs...for life?

No, I don't remember those days.

It's mean of me, I know, but I'll hit demos at the golf course. When I find one I'm launching I naturally just have to have it. Then I'll buy it on ebay.

My driver loft has increased since my lessons with the pro last year. Driver theories have changed also.

isn't that part of being a golfer? you kinda have to buy into all the hype put out by every new advancement in technology.

I do have to say those drivers with the screws are pretty cool. I don't think you could ever miss the ball. but then you do, and you have to find something else.

I also have an Orlimar 6 degree driver, it's for the man who really wants to punish himself.

No doubt, driver technology/head size has made a difference in the game, and has also helped my game...somewhat.

But when I open the December Golf Digest and it tells me that if I haven't purchased new clubs in the last five years I'm cheating myself, I chuckle.

I know several guys that have replaced the drivers and irons in their bags a couple of times in the last five years. Have their handicaps changed?

Nope.

Those who've gotten better have done so with lessons and extra practice.
