Confusing Scramble Dates
 

As of this minute I'm scheduled to play in 3 tournaments May 12.

SIU President's Scholarship Tournament- $125
VFW Fundraiser Tournament-$60
Federated Auto Parts Appreciation Tournament-Free

Some people who asked me had their dates mixed up.

Guess which one I'm choosing to play in?

I'm going with "C", Bill.

Man, we played in one of those high school fundraiser things (with a team entry fee of at least $100) a few years ago and placed second I think, out of a pretty big field.

Prize? Bupkis. All proceeds went to the kids. Now that's no way to run a tourny.

My team's 2 time defending champions of the Federated Tourney. I've got 2 little plastic golfing men/trophies. I got a nice leather travel bag with Federated Auto Parts all over it the first year for closest to the hole and my buddy got one on the other par 3. We went on a golf trip and everyone thought we worked for Federated.

However they do have some beer and food.

I played in the VFW one last year and got 3 key fobs, one soft glasses case, a Budweiser hat, and about 5 of those stupid neck lanyards that people wear their work badges on that say Jagermeister.
