That's some crazy stuff. I beat a guy out of $300 once because he didn't know when to stop pressing. I thought that was high stakes.

(I let him off for $50 and drinks for the rest of the day.)

I don't worry about the stakes my group plays for. The winner always ends up paying for the drinks. Anything left goes in the golf bag kitty for the next round.

Great article on high stakes golf gambling in Vegas. Greased clubfaces, illegal clubs, bet upon bet. These guys are nuts.
