The best thing I did for my swing was to make myself more fluid in my entire swing.

You'll get better distance and control with it.

Nice job on the 77!

I can only dream of ever shooting that.
That's definitely one thing i've never struggled with is hitting through the ball instead of at it, i've always been able to take a smooth swing, even if i over swing... it's still smooth and through.

I'm getting ready to head out to the driving range for the first time this year. I'm really looking forward to it, not so much the soreness tomorrow.

Nice work. I love mini golf too.

My best ever in competition was a 76 that netted a 3rd place finish in about a 60 person tournament in high school...which was also a best.

These days I'm more in the 85-90 range, though that is on a pretty tough course. I think I've only broken 80 on a 72 par course twice since high school.

Came back from the driving range today, just like last year I still suck. I still slice the ball just about every hit.

I tried everything I could think of. Guess its time to go to the driving range with my dad.

Pretty good for me.

Even better, it was from the tips.

Weird thing about that is, I didn't try to overswing. I knew I couldn't get on the par fives in two, so I just made an easy pass at the ball.

Funny thing is, I was just as long and as straight or straighter, on most of the holes.

Swing smooth and within yourself, and the ball flies farther. I've heard that before, but it was proven in my game today.
Did you just tell me to give myself a long, smooth stroke?

Nice to hear SOMEBODY playing some good golf....Cuz I'm not...Best score ever still stands at 98.

I'm usually at the "f*ck this, I'm just going to have a beer and think about tits" stage by the 16th...

I'd probably have a nervous breakdown by the 75th or so...

Thursday is just a practice round, so I'll probably play 2 balls from the tee. Friday we're playing 27 where only the first 18 count and the next 9 are a beer a hole. Same thing on Saturday. Sunday is still going to blow though.

Damn, if I was playing 81 holes, I'd definitely not have a long practice round on Thursday, and definitely not play two balls. Blisters galore.

I've hit the links a few times these last couple of days because of AP tests, and getting out of school early today.

I've been playing fairly well, yesterday I played and I was demolishing my drives, but today they were not as good because of fatigue from playing yesterday. I still love the bunkers, the sand is so nice, the ball just sits right on it.
