So, my last two rounds I've played as a single joining up with folks randomly.

They have been: The 2005 state high school tennis champion, who also played for his school's golf team; and, a collegiate golfer who plays in Hawaii.

They say you play better when paired with superior players. I'm calling bullshit on that. These guys are hitting their drives about 275 on average. They also have smooth-as-a-baby's-butt touch around the greens.

Man. Think you're a world beater around your Dunlop buddies, but then you see real talent. I'm a 10 handicap, and I felt like a bum next to these kids.

Have mercy.

I love that. I guess it's because i love getting to know random people that i'll probably never see again.

I used to do that. Single in.

I met some great people. Many of them are dead now.
