Default John Daly's lost 50-60 Million!
Gambling is a bad, bad addiction just like anything else.

John Daly has admitted to losing upwards of 60 mill at the casinos.

He makes Pete Rose, A-Rod, Tiger, Jordan, and Rodman all look like lightweights.

I can tell you from experience that gambling is one of my demons.

But I never let it get too out of control.

I never took the money for bills or any of that shit, but I have a problem nonetheless.

Every once in a great while during football season I have a setback.

But I'm talking a few hundred dollars.

This is unfathomable.

Daly was going good for a while, but where'd he get that kind of scratch after his divorces, loss of sponsors, and only a few wins on tour?

That's my question. Was he making THAT kind of money through endorsments in his prime?

I wondering the same thing.

Plus that doesn't include the bar tabs, packs of smokes, and hookers.

Yep. Last interview I read about him a couple of years ago he was tooling around in a motor home. Had one obscure sponsor.

Guy has the talent to make millions, no doubt. But has got to find a way to beat the addictions.

Are you kidding? They're are these little things called "markers" that a "whale" signs for .

Just ask Prince Fielder's dad, Cecil.

That's very true there, but then that means he'd still owe quite a bit. And the bookies don't care who you are.

Years ago I had a few rooms "comp'd" --

Those free rooms cost me a bundle.

The casinos aren't going to go into 1 million+ debt to anyone for very long; he may get markes but not 50-60 million bucks worth. And, he can't sprend them around, because a casino will call around to other casinos to see what knid of debt he's carrying elsewhere.

Or does whale mean something else? My casino lingo is a little weak...

He must've made a shit ton of money is all I'm saying.

I'm sure he did make a crap load of money, hp. But if he has gambled and lost 4 or 5 EXTRA LARGE, the casino may be gambling that by giving vouchers to him, whatever he makes on tour will be coming back to them.

Sooner or later.

First of all I'm sure he exaggerated the numbers, and doesn't really know what they are anyways.

Secondly maybe he lost this much at the casino, but failed to mention he won 40 mill with Pete Rose at the racetrack?

Whoa, 7 hands of blackjack @ $15,000 = $105,000 every hand.

Can you say. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

There you have it. As I suspected it wasn't a net loss. Just his estimated gross loss.

Makes me fucking sick. I know it's his and he can do with what he chooses. But that is REAL money that he's burning through in a matter of minutes.

That's what I call hedging your bets.
