I've got a big problem with this. Not because I don't feel women deserve the chance to play with men. In fact, if they can, go right ahead.
But, there's other things that have to be looked at:
Seriously, if they want to compete against each other, the two Tours should get together and host a couple of tourneys in which both genders may compete. |

Men can't join the LPGA Tour because their rulebook has rules against it. The PGA Tour rulebook does not have any gender specific rules. |

Actually, it's not called the Men's PGA Tour. In that case, the PGA Tour should make a rule, or get the LPGA to open up to men. Either way, I think its unfair that it can only go one way. I'm not sure if it's a publicity stunt, or about money, or if its really just about showing they can keep up with the guys. But I don't think the tours should be mixed. Like I said, create a couple of special tourneys or something like that. |

I don't think they need special tourneys, just do like annika did at a smaller tourney. But she also dominated women's golf. |

Wie on the other hand, hasn't won shit with the women, why should she be taking a male players spot who's relying on it to make a living. |

Well everytime they talk about it on TV, they refer to it as the "Mens PGA Tour". Nobody cares about the LPGA. But a woman on the PGA is a spectacle, so she'll get shown on TV more, and therefore her sponsors will get their get shown. |

Well everytime they talk about it on TV, they refer to it as the "Mens PGA Tour". As far as making rules, the PGA has no sway over the LPGA, and can't dictate terms to them. They also don't seem to really have a problem with the way the rules are now, so I don't see a change happening anytime soon. As far as getting upset at a women who hasn't won anything yet getting an exemption to play a PGA event, where's the outrage for exemptions for people like Bill Murray who occasionally get sponser exemptions? If they ask her to play, and she wants to play, I have no problem with her playing. I'm not sure why people get mad at her for accepting invitations. |

All i'm saying is there's a tour out there for her, which she hasn't done shit on either. |

Those are celebrity things. Different. And what about suits from the sponsors themselves? She's not taking anyone's spot, those exemptions aren't going to be given to an otherwise not invited pro golfer. Again, why act like it's her fault she's invited to these events? I think you're just jealous that she gets to go out there and do these events and you can't. |

Isn't she a celebrity in her own right? My final point: You don't run before you can crawl. |
