I've got a big problem with this. Not because I don't feel women deserve the chance to play with men. In fact, if they can, go right ahead.

But, there's other things that have to be looked at:

1. It's called the Men's PGA Tour for a reason. Men play on it. If women play on it, it wouldn't be the Men's PGA Tour anymore.
2. If a woman wants to join the Men's tour because she feels she can compete, why can't a man join the Women's tour? I can only imagine the uproar that would cause.

Seriously, if they want to compete against each other, the two Tours should get together and host a couple of tourneys in which both genders may compete.

I have ABSOLUTELY no problem with someone like Annika dominating on the women's tour and wanting to test her skills with the men.

They may refer to it as the men's tour, because everyone who's earned their card is male.

As far as making rules, the PGA has no sway over the LPGA, and can't dictate terms to them. They also don't seem to really have a problem with the way the rules are now, so I don't see a change happening anytime soon.

As far as getting upset at a women who hasn't won anything yet getting an exemption to play a PGA event, where's the outrage for exemptions for people like Bill Murray who occasionally get sponser exemptions?

If they ask her to play, and she wants to play, I have no problem with her playing. I'm not sure why people get mad at her for accepting invitations.
