[GOLF] Singh commits to play in FBR Open
 

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Vijay Singh, the No. 2-ranked golfer in
the world, has committed to play in next month's FBR Open.

That gives the tournament 15 of the top 30 money winners from
the 2005 PGA Tour season.

Other new commitments are Ryder Cup captain Tom Lehman, 2005 PGA
Championship runner-up Steve Elkington and 2004 FBR Open champion
Jonathan Kaye.

PGA golfers have until Jan. 27 to commit to the FBR, which is
scheduled for Feb. 2-5 at the Tournament Players Club in
Scottsdale.
