That's cool. The course I play at has a riding greens mower.

I too am about to start a new job. Retired from one with a federal pension and working full time is a good thing.

Default New Job
Just got a new job, I got tired of my old one.

I'm now on the grounds crew at our local golf club. Had my first day today. Pretty good, I cut greens for most of the morning. The job starts at 6, which is good for doing stuff during the day, but bad for sleep.

I think I'm going to like it. I get to drive a pimpin utility cart which I tow the greens mower on from green to green.

I did grounds work in the lansing area as a youth.....never did the golf course thing. Although when I was stationed in Germany we did go "Bunny Bashing" on the generals golf course.

I asked about that, the superintendent said that he liked the cut and the look of the push greens mowers. They take forever to cut, but there is about 5 of us that cut greens in the morning.

The utility cart is diesel, and has an automatic transmission. The spedometer goes up to 50, I maxed it out with a trailer on the back today at 35.

Oh sorry....bunny bashing was when we drove our jeeps around the course and tried to smash the bunnies that were running around with someone hanging out the passenger side with a stick. We had to stop because they were pissed we were tearing the greens up.
