Default Orlimar Trimetal plus woods
Buy one get two free.

Has anyone used these? If so, what did you think?

The driver is definitely of the regular variety. I think they've branched out from their utility club beginnings.

they aren't utility clubs, they are regular woods that can come in high lofts to replace long irons. i personally am not a fan, i don't like the feel of the ball when it comes off the face.

Buy one, get two free? Think about what they're selling... they can't give these clubs away.

I've got an Orlimar 6 degree driver with a stiff shaft, no one can hit it.

They say never make a bet with a man you meet on the first tee who's got a deep tan and carries a one iron.

I say never make a bet with a man who carries a 6 degree orlimar driver.

I don't know if i could hit it well, but in my previous dealings with orlimar i'd say the chances aren't good. You have a shorter shaft on there or standard?

45" shaft. The first time I hit it it sounded like a rifle shot, jumped off the clubface and went forever. That was on the 1st hole. Good thing I birdied. No one's been able to hit it since, including me.

I got it from egghead.com.

That's my experience with orlimar. I hit some kid's he was going to sell, pured the hell out of it, was like I'll buy it. Never came into contact with the kid again, but still had his club. good thing too, because after that one shot, i couldn't hit it well at all. if i would've seen him i'd have just given it back.

It's not the 6 degree that i couldn't hit. I play an 8.5, and could stand to go a degree/degree and a half lower, it's the orlimar part that scares me.
