One group I used to go to Gulf Shores with, it was golf from 8 am until dark every damn day. 45 holes a day.

I'd come home needing a vacation to rest up.
That was every golf vacation for me for over 15 years.

I've heard great things about Gulf Shores.

I did the Robert Trent Jones Trail in Alabama many times. Hilton Head too many times. Palm Springs, CA and South Florida.

Now I'm getting the itch. Thanks alot.

Gulf Shores got blown away. I don't know if it's rebuilt yet or not.

Kiva Dunes
Peninsula (made an eagle there)
Woodlands
Lost Key
Cotton Creek
Rock Creek on the way home
Hooters every damn night
Walk through the giant shark's mouth to buy the kids presents to give them when you get home
I've never played Hooters. Sounds like I should at least give the Par 3 course a shot.

And I'll never pass up another giant shark's mouth again. That's a great plan right there.

Are those like video games or indoor simulation type deals?

Otherwise ... I'm on the floor.
Let me help you up

Played 36 myself the other day.

Pebble Beach and Augusta, the thumbs are holding up well enough.
I was at Augusta yesterday. What are the odds of that?

The other course was St. Andrew's.

I was terrible over the first 7 holes of the first round. I hadn't been out in over a month and stopped keeping score. However, from the best I can remember, I played less than bogey golf over the final 12 holes or so.

In the second round, I was wildly inconsistent. I had a lot of birdie putts and a lot of triple bogey putts.

All in all, not a terrible day.

Fuck, I'm getting too old for this. I feel like I got beat down like so many Devil Rays teams over the last decade.
