I've only had 5 eagles. 2 by reaching par 5's in 2 and making the put. One by holing out on a par four from the fairway, and 2 by driving the green on par 4's.
I'm still looking forward to my first eagle on a par 3. I want it to be at Stone Creek, everyone buys you a drink when you make a hole in 1 there. Everywhere else I play, you have to buy everyone a drink when you make one. |

I have four certified hole in ones. 3 came on the same day exactly each one year apart.
1st. was par 3 177 yards. 6 iron. 2nd. was par 3 201 yards. 4 iron. 3rd. was par 3 145 yards. pw 4th. was par 3 101 yards. sw I should of went golfing that 4th year but was rained out.. ruined a great streak of luck for me.. |

I went with a guy who had never played golf before, but had hit balls and was a baseball player. Guy tops it off the tee, sh*nks the next one, then holes out a 7 iron from like 210 yards that never got higher than my head. It was crazy.
I have had two holes-in-one. My first came at a sweet resort in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Holed it from 147. Hit a little knock down 7 into the wind and it took one hop and vanished. It was sweet. 8 days later at the Golf Camp I worked at, I am playing late with a foursome of kids. 190 yard par three and the green is difficult to see. I hit a nice draw five iron and it vanishes. The kids start jumping up and down and yelling and I'm like, "settle down guys, it just went over the green." They go running up to the green before I can stop them and are screaming and yelling. One of them started to get it out of the hole before I yelled at him. It was pretty sweet too. |

damn, I just noticed this thread.
I have yet to score an Eagle which really pisses me off. I am a very good chipper, yet have not been able to chip one in for Eagle yet. The closest I came was last year when I hit an absolute mammoth of a drive on, what they say, was a 360 yard par 4. I was within about 12 feet of the pin, but left it a bit short. The greens were a fucking joke. This is my year though. I really got serious about golfing last year after years of hacking around. I was playing very very well by years end after getting used to all my new equipment. I am hunting that hole-in-one. Those new Cleveland Irons I bought last year were really starting to hone in, but then the winter time came and screwed up my mojo. |
