Default Playing with Wrist Brace?
I've been having some issues with my right wrist hurting, and was thinking about trying a wrist brace to help stabilize it. Has anyone ever tried wearing a brace while playing? I was thinking one of the simple neoprene may work due to the simplicity and small, but am open to other suggestions.

Thanks,
Brandon

Consult a doctor and find out why you are hurting first. I only recommend this course of action because I speak from experience. 7 years ago I had surgery to try and repair a non union in my right hand. Bone and vascular graft was attempted from my lower wrist. After being in a cast for over 6 weeks, months of physical therapy and then to finally learn that the surgery was less than 60% successful! I will have to deal with the occasional pain & limited wrist mobility for the rest of my life. All because I put off a visit to my doctor by trying to use braces and wrist supports for a few years to cope with pain from what I didn't know was a broken bone. I'll get off my soap box now and I hope it's nothing serious!!

I've been putting off the Dr. because I've been off work due to another injury, but decided I needed to get it done. I have an appointment with an orthopedic dr. that specializes in hands and wrists for next Wednesday, so hopefully I can get this taken care of.

The guy I play with most of the time uses a wrist band, and elbow band and sometimes one for his knee. He shoots high 70s to mid 80s.

Hope you find out good news about your wrist and recover from your current injury quickly. Good luck!
