3 or 4. If I lose more than that, I usually just pack it up and head home.

I carry 2-3 sleeves and 3-4 loose balls which is probably more than I need to. |
Confident folks here, I see.
I probably have 30 balls in there right now. Perhaps a sleeve of new ones, and the rest various found balls ranging from Pro-Vs to utter crap I can't believe I picked up. |
If I'm playing a new course I'll bring extra, but usually 2 sleeves.

I usually have around 6 to 10 and that will include a new sleeve.

I tend to carry about 10 but my junk balls start to pile up until I realize how heavy my bag is getting. Recently I counted about 36 until the culling...
|
Way too many. I've played the same two balls the last two rounds, and then I might find a range ball or random ball and put it in the bag to hit on the range later. But they keep accumulating. It will probably worse now that I use a Clicgear and I'm not going to feel the full weight of the bag on my shoulders anymore.
I always put more than I need before I travel, too, because I don't want to pay pro shop prices if I can avoid it. Last time I cleaned out my bag, I put about 20 balls into the shag collection. |
No more then a dozen. Combination of new and used.

entirely too...many....jokes....
but seriously i keep about a dozen that're probably slightly beat up (use em for the practice green/chipping/etc) and two sleeves of pearls. |
