Default Bridgestone Ball Fitting
Just got back home from a Bridgestone Ball fitting at my local driving range. I have to say, they 2 guys running the show were top notch. I averaged 111 mph swing speed and I hooked the crap out of 4 of my 6 shots.. I got up to the camera and it felt like those first tee jitters. They recommended the 330RX over the TP3 that Ive been using. But, it was my first time ever on a monitor and It was definitely interesting looking at all the stats..

Interesting your speed should be good enough for the b330 or b330s
Maybe they are subliminally yelling you to slow your swing down do you stop snap hooking lol

Yeah, I'm a little surprised they recommended the RX instead of the B330 or B330-S.... Did you max out at 111 or was that your average? If you have them, you should post your numbers in this thread.

They recommended the 330RX to reduce the hook spin.

Sure. But the B330 probably spins even less off the tee

I thought you said the 2 guys running the show were top notch.

With your swing speed, you should not be playing the B330 Rx. The ball will feel like a flimsy marshmellow to you (and that 's probably an overstatement).

I actually go for my first ball fitting today. Bridgestone will be at my local club this afternoon. I've played the B330-RXS and really liked it, but I'm really curious to see what they tell me.

Upon further investigation, they did in fact recommend the 330-S, my apologies. The RX was stuck in my head because that's what they had me warm up with. And the 330-S was compared to my Penta TP5.. My numbers were as follows

TP5
SS - 111.2
Ball Velocity - 151.2
Launch Angle - 11.3
Back Spin - 1497
Side Spin - -1900 (I know, not my usual shot, and that was an average of 3!)
Distance - 208 (that was an average distance on the monitor, I think they registered going further left than try did straight. Pretty scary!)

Ideal
SS - 111.2
BV - 164.5
LA - 11.1
BS - 2309
SS - 0
Distance - 287

And my best shot with the 330S on the monitor was

SS - 111.8
BV - 146.1
LA - 15.9
BS - 2750
SS - -7
Distance - 237

What driver were you hitting?

I've never done an actual ball fitting but I've wanted to. Unfortunately, the last demo day had a ball fitting and the line was about an hour long wait all day!

I bought some 330S balls and never hit one of them more than twice before losing them. It kind of disappointed me. Give me a junk beater ball and I can go all 18 with it. Brand new B330, gone!

Looks like you should have hit a few more TP5s 'till you got one going straight! In my limited testing I found that for me, the TP5 had less driver side spin and a higher launch angle than the B330s.
