Default Georgia 2012 Get Together!
The planning and coordination for this year's Get Together in North Georgia has been passed on to a new person. One who has done a great job in the North East and has some really interesting ideas for this coming October. The torch is being passed on to MaryC, who has experience and is an excellent coordinator for this sort of Get Together. There are some new ideas in the mix with a possible new location, which will be discussed post Morgan Cup. We are delighted Mary has opted to take on this years Ga. Get Together and trust me it will be a really cool experience!

Really appreciate Mary being willing to coordinate this. I know my dad and I are certainly interested in playing at least one day depending on the details.

Remember guys/gals this is not an official THP event/outing where there is a demo day etc. The local state get together events are local managed and although we have had some big turnouts in the past and expect even more this year, it's a local state Get Together. With that said, we welcome all participants to our golf weekend and can promise that you will have one heck of a good time!

Way to step up MaryC, I know you will do a great job. A big Thank You to Ole Gray for having done a most excellent job in the past. I look forward to seeing all of my THP friends in October in north Georgia.

Sounds like a lot of fun. If I were still in Athens, I would love to come to check it out.

Have a blast!

If it were a SE Georgia get together I'd cross the border and speak with my extreme No Fla southern accent to fit in, but North GA is a bit too far of a drive to get permission from the boss, I think...

Bring the boss with ya! One of the places we were talking about today, is a resort type area with much to do for non golfers too. Just saying don't think it won't be fun for the non golfer in your life.

Thanks OG for all the great planning you've done the past two years! I have some HUGE shoes to fill. Hope I can live up to the high bar you've set.

To that end, I've been doing some looking at options for accomodations I think everyone will be excited about from the amenities and the price!

Bed bugs are extra though... But it is real close to the world class Goat Track!

Just kidding...

Seriously though I do have some good surprises about the accomodations that will allow folks to not only hang out together but also allow for spouses or family to come if they want to.

I'll be announcing this soon.

Until then, thanks for the warm welcome as the planner of the GA Get Together.

I know that Motel. That's the Ramit All Inn in Athens. Hourly rates.
