Man that sucks, I need to make my club aware of this, because I know they have used this company in the past for the same kind of contests!

Also speaking of bad timing....I was playing with a group of guys about 6 months ago...we played a charity scramble in the morning then played 18 in the afternoon...one of the guys in my group who played in the morning too, aced the 15th hole in the afternoon....if he would have done it in the morning it would have been worth a new truck!

Yeah...considering he played almost 36 holes a day there during the summer for 20+ years, I guess 12 is a low # considering the # of holes played, but man was he ever lucky/unlucky.

On another ace note, I have given balls to 3 people to play, and ironically they all scored aces with those actual balls. Not funny.

Totally unrelated, but kind of related.

Last year, a local group I am a part of, decided they were going to throw together a benefit golf tournament at the last second. Knowing I am a big golfer, I helped them set a few things up, threw out some ideas and put them in contact with some people that could do donations and volunteer. Well, a local car dealership does most of the hole in one prizes for most tournaments around here. The woman that was supposed to get in contact with the car dealership, apparently never followed up, so............the car dealership never finalized the hole in one payouts, prizes, etc. We are through nine holes, when my playing partner, my co-organizer pulls me aside and says, "Jeff, we don't have the hole in one prizes. So and so never followed up". Yeah, the bad thing is, we have all these signs on the Par 3's saying what the prize is for a hole. We are supposed to have a 2012 Ford Fusion parked on Hole #15 (it isn't there), but a sign telling them what the car is, it's there. Nike irons on another hole. $500 AMEX gift cards. Yeah, we never had any of those things. I pulled them aside and told them, "Never *($(*$# tell anyone about this, and if you people think I am going to be a part of this bulls**t going forward, you are out of your &$%^&#^ minds". I was so pissed, I about left the course, before I went on a "News at 9 - Man goes postal, beats people to death with clubs" kind of rampage. Had someone made an ace, we were so screwed and probably would have had our arses sued off.
