I'm bad, but not that bad the most I've shot on one hole before was a 10

Keendwainge 09-25-2012 09:01 AM

The highest I ever saw was a 15.. but 66? Wow. Poor guy. Never knew that story about the bridge though! I'll bring it up in my next round. http://www.thehackersparadise.com/fo...es/biggrin.png

Hell, I've shot a whole lot more than 10!

legal-advicer 09-25-2012 09:01 AM

Wow imagine getting stuck behind him.........

Just think how many guys he has let guys play through !!!!!!

Jourgenz 09-25-2012 09:01 AM

This was televised. I doubt anyone was behind them. Funny how some people took that angle

QuidQuoPro 09-26-2012 09:01 AM

he really worked on his game the past 25 years

Mmzmptvk 09-26-2012 09:01 AM

But then I was like "no no no".

Ever Shot a 66?

Just had this come through my inbox. I don't know whether it has been brought up here before or not but back in the 80's someone tried to find the worst avid golfer by sending 4 horrible golfers out at Sawgrass. One of the poor guys shot a 66 on one hole, the 17th. There is a video up on youtube of him revisiting the hole 25 years later. It's pretty good for a laugh. It's the reason the bridge across to the green is named Angelo's Alley.

Good to see it's still a wood for him from 140 out.

Senior year golf match (9 holes) I was -2 under going into 9, made a 13. The kicker is, I was only 100 yards out in the fairway after my drive...but there was a stupid little pond in my line that destroyed me.

Wow. thanks for sharing!

I got a 17 on a hole last week. It was a birdie but it took me 8 shots to carry the 270 needed to clear the water and hit the green.

kvitacencia 09-28-2012 09:01 AM

the guy was great sport, i enjoyed his comments too lol

Xiciljed 09-28-2012 09:01 AM

He probably backed up the whole course. I'm surprised he didn't get IceJacked. From like 10 feet away. I'm also suprised that nobody gave him a 1-2 piece.

I can't believe he made a 66. You'd have to be really, really bad to do that.

Xiciljed 09-28-2012 09:01 AM

Also, I bet his bag was very heavy before that. He must have had a lot of golf balls with him.

Hell, I carded a 13 on a par 5 in my club championship year before last...LOL....2 OOB tee shots and a ball in the water, approach in a bunker and a three putt.....it was UGLY!

tsaaapla 09-30-2012 09:01 AM

I think I read that he carded over 200 for the whole game. Poor guy.

I do like how at the end of the video he makes a point of saying it's still better than a day at work. It is nice to see someone who loves the sport even though he isn't good at it.

Now on the 17th of TPC saw grass, that would probably be a different story hahah, I can green most par 3's at my course but this one is killer

I couldn't agree more. The guy had a great attitude about the whole thing.
