Default Washington Golf Show
All - Anyone from the DC area make it over to the Dullis Expo for the North Coast Golf Show this weekend. I went today with a buddy & had a good time.

Got to watch Michael Breed give golf tips for an hour & got a photo. MB is a great guy!

Then got to see the Steve "The Hitman" Hiter do some trick shots which were pretty cool.

Looking good Bobg. So how was the show? I guess it's no where as big as Orlando but as far as content is it worth it?

VA Vince and I met up today at the golf show. There were a few good deals to be found and the new Rocletballz clubs everywhere. We both had some fun at the wedge contest area. I wish they would do away with the salesmen/women pushing products. I like to walk around and look in peace. I don't need people hollering at me to sign up for this or get info on that.

The North Coast Golf Shows are nothing like the show in Orlando. Here is a link: http://www.northcoastgolfshows.com/c...aspx?ShowsID=2

- They have an indoor diving range area where you can hit clubs from most of the OEMs
- They have a long drive contest; the long drive when I left was 344 yards
- Closest to the pin contest where you hit a shot...probably like 50 yards
- Long putt contest
- A lot of vendors selling golf trips all along the East Coast
- A lot of vendors selling golf clubs and other equipment; Rock Bottom Golf was there

I got a deal on some golf shorts and gloves....plus got a deal on my 2012 Tee Times book.

Also got a free sleeve of Bridgestone Tour B330RXS balls...plus got a few coupons for golf rounds & 12 months subscription for Golf magazine.

Not a bad day for the cost of $9 entry fee.

I just avoid the sales people...especially the ones with the bracelets, etc.

They had the best deal out IMO for the Cleveland 588's. A lot of RBZ stuff and A lot of sales people pushing back pain junk and braclets. Had a fun time with DirtyDawg67, the wedge shot when we played was 40 yards. I also really liked the Nike VR irons (I think forged) last years model.

I saw Washington golf show and thought Washington the state! Our big golf expo is next weekend at the Century Link field convention center. My wife and I will be there Saturday.
