Enjoy it Ron! I went to the 2008 US Open @ Torrey Pines for the final round and playoff. What a great experience and 100x bigger and better than a regular tour stop. The masses of people is crazy and the 18 grandstand will be fully occupied by 10am. We walked the whole course before noon and made the line for 18 with about an hour wait. The marshalls gave you a password to get back to your seat which changed every hour lol. Finally 6 hours later Tiger sank that putt and all hell broke loose. The stands were literally shaking. It was just awesome.
If you're going Sunday I recommend buying the Monday playoff ticket too. We bought ours for $10 in advance and it was totally worth it! |
