It's never been an entire course, just a particular hole or two.

A nearby course hosts the first tournament of the season. I absolutely despise it and every year I keep coming back because a) I wanna compete and b) I think "maybe this is the year?".

I've scored well on it in mid-summer when the weather's good, but in early spring when it's cold and windy, the course is horrendous. Not meant to play like a links but those're the types of winds you're up against.

Squire 9 @ Starfire.

#5 and #10 at ASU Karsten.

I know the courses like the back of my hand but for some reason I make every possible mistake on those holes. So frustrating but at the same time it makes things so much more worth it to play there.

Westchase, in Tampa. It always kills me. There are some holes I play well, but some that just eat me up and cause me to make some big numbers.

Hole #1 on the West Course at Etowah kills me. It's a massively long Par 4, with OB just right and a creek just left. You have to get into it off the tee or you can't get on it two, but you're scared to b/c of the hazzards. It seems like you're always hitting into the wind, the green slopes severely back to front so anything long on the approach is death, yet there's the greenside bunkers placed just short. I hate it. I will walk off that hole with a 5 every single time and be happy, but you're typically 1 over on your round through 1 and that sucks.
What the crap? Who makes an opening hole like that? Satan?

Bear Trace at Harrison Bay which is also the nicest public course in our area. I like the course, and it's not ridiculously tight or anything, but I never score well there. It's got a couple of dogleg lefts on the front that just eat me up since I can't hit a draw to save my life.

Anything that has narrow fairways and lots of trees, I hate trees on a golf course. There are some around here that you would have to take a chainsaw and spend a month cutting just to make them playable.

Hillcrest 18th hole... It's a great hole, awesome design, but it kills me every time!
It's a 3w off the tee, and you wanna go on the left, but avoid downhill, and that will leave you a simple layup to a small island green, which I have never gotten on... It's fun, but it sucks. I've gone over and into the water, bounced on and rolled off, bounced the handrail on the bridge twice in 2 tries... Oh, did I mention that the 19th hole has a huge window that faces it, where everyone goes to laugh it off, while watching it happen to somebody else.

Tadashi, for me, I don't know if it's a course or if it's a hole or two. I play this course around here every Monday (Etowah Valley), and I have put up some decent scores there but I absolutely despise about 3 golf holes on that course.

Cannon Ridge in Fredericksburg, VA. I would love to take a dozer out there to the par 5 3rd.
