Default If you're putting for birdie and an earthquack happens...
...do you get a redo?

Or, if you're competition is putting for birdie and an earthquake happens...do you give him a redo?

When I read this topic..I was waiting for a story of how caddyshack happened today...

I would give myself and my fellow people a redo

REDO! If it went in it would be a great story of how your nerves withstood an earthquake.

Nope, penalty stroke for hitting a zig-zaggy bouncing putt.

Play it as it lies. This might be a question to ask our president. Im sure he was playing golf today when the quake hit DC.

Not to change the thread but what if in your back swing on your tee shot it got shook of the tee. What would come of that one. I would have to give a redo on both for oponent and myself

Interesting question. Everybody says "redo" for a friendly match, and I would agree with that as well.

Anything in the rulebook?

"President Obama was about to start a round of golf on Martha's Vineyard when a strong earthquake struck Virginia"

Better hope there are no tall trees around! You know your obsessed with the game when your putt is more of a concern than something falling on your head
