Golfshot GPS Stats
 

Just wanted to show how this app shows some stats. The only flaw is the GIR, sometimes it doesn't give me a GIR when I am actually on but still a great app. Still haven't played since May 28th, torn muscle is almost healed. Going to try and hit a small bucket this weekend to see how it feels.

I've been using GolfShot for months and never had a GIR issue so not quite sure what you mean by that?
It goes off of what you put into it, so if its a par four and you enter a score of "4" with 2 putts, it assigns you the GIR.
Am I missing something??

i use it and ive just added golfscape to go with it awsome the golfscape allows you to use your camera and give you distances to bunkers and hazards and the pin

I've been hesitant to pull the trigger on GolfScape due to some bad reviews I've read on it. Most of them focus on the inability to see the screen in bright, sunny conditions. Do you ever have this problem with it??

If I am on a par 4 in regulation and 3 putt it wont give it to me. It used to but not anymore. Its not a big deal but I wish I could edit it to show a GIR when it was. Same with par 3's and 5's, I guess if you 3 putt it guess's your not on in regulation? I have been using it for over a year now and absolutely love it.

My dad got this and doesn't care for it. He said its not worth it and the regular Golfshot is much better.

Try deleting and re-installing app. On iPhone I know u dint have to repay for it to reinstall. Not sure how the android market works.

I know but just saying he did not like it. I have not tried it out but I will once I get a chance to play with him.

I have the iphone, I had to do this when I went from the 3GS to the 4. It lost a bunch of apps and had to reinstall a bunch. That may be when it started acting up? Its still my favorite app.

Yes might be that. I have friends who have gotten problems with iPhone-apps when they went from a jailbroken 3Gs to the 4.

Hmmmm. Just checked my round from last Sunday and I have 2 holes where I have GIR and both 3 putted (unfortunately). One a par 4 and the other a par 5. It has indicated GIR for me on both these holes so I am thinking this isn't a GolfShot error but maybe an error in your own app?

Using a glare screen protector helps to see the screen in sunlight. Love the app and havent had any scoring issues. Nice to know Golfscap plays nice with it.

I use golfshot for stats but was a little hesitant to get golfscape too.

My stats are correct on GolfShot, always gets the GIR's correctly for me.

I have looked at adding golfscape but I personally don't see the point as the Aerial view works just fine with the Yardages

I really don't think its me? but you never know. Its still the best golf app out there and I flat love it. I will post my cards after next week when I get back from N. Myrtle.

Have you deleted the app and reisntalled it?

Do the stats on the website match the phone?
