Totally agree - "thoughtless" swing = better swing
Although I guess once you get to the back 9 or so you'll have most of those ingrained...

I don't know how you pull that off. When I have more than 2 swing thoughts at a time, my swing implodes.

will look even better on a new R11 white driver
Maybe you should sell an idea to TM. Make the top of the R11 White Driver like a dry erase board. Then, as your swing and swing thoughts change, the notes on the top of the driver easily change.

I've done similar, except I scribbled it down into my yardage book. Can't put it on the clubhead, I'd be the laughing stock.

In the end, the best one for me is to focus on a single point. We're talking specific, like a thin branch on a tree, or the left edge of the tee box on the next hole, a bunch of leaves that have a different color or whatever. That's the line I want it in and then I just look at it and forget everything around it. Works remarkably well and can be a good "game saver" when you feel like you're lacking control off the tee or when you need to focus when the pressure is on. Nicky Price had a similar thing with holing putts, he'd focus on a single grain in the back of the hole.

That's awesome! Right up there with the 'gadget' putter someone made a while back with a level, tape measure, laser, etc.

Thanks for sharing!

I played golf with a guy I met on another forum. He had swing thoughts written all over his golf glove and was always glancing at it. He was a pretty good player, too. Goofy, but he played a solid round.

I didn't see him do the writing, just the reading of the writing before he hit a shot.

Now that's funny. It looks like what is running through my brain every time I get up to the ball. I have a notepad that I write stuff like that on but I always forget to get it out. Glad it worked for you!

Until I saw the picture my guess was teeing off with a 9 iron! I guess your way works and gets a better score out of the deal at the same. Kool!
