Default Shoulder Injury
Boy do I have a lot of pain in my left shoulder, sleeping was a nightmare. I'm fairly certain it is a rotator injury or strain. I am hoping that it is a result of overdoing it at the range Thursday. If the pain does not let up I am going in next week.

Anyone care to share you experience with the process? How long before you where back on the course? Maybe I'll finally stop swinging so darn hard.

This happened to my dad when he first started golfing. His swing was super steep, and he just wailed on the ball. His pain went away after 5 or 6 days though. Hope this gets better bro

I had a shoulder injury last year. It was a frozen shoulder. Heat, ice packs, and exercise for a month cured it.

Did you hear or feel anything at the time or did it just start to hurt like heck after you finished?

I had similar pain and it ended up being bursitis. It was awful, I couldn't sleep, do my job , or anything where I had to move my right arm for the most part. Finally went in and a cortisone shot later have been pain free for 2+ years.

Do you have trouble lifting your arm higher than level with your shoulder?

Fortunately I did not hear or feel a pop, BTDT with knee and Achilles. Yes there is pain and weakness lifting above shoulder height. It is feeling better today so I am hoping I just over did it and need to go a little easier in my old age. I am going to work on a flatter swing and maybe go in for a lesson.

Sucks getting old, thanks for the input

I didn't hear any pop or anything but when it got in a certain position, it would be verrrrry painful. The worst Ithink is when I would roll over in bed. It felt like my arm was going to fall off.

Had a couple of those last night, but it didn't hurt enough to not go straight to bed
