Sorry for the weird title, but I wanted to see if anyone else has had an experience like mine. I was visiting some family and had the opportunity to play the boilermaker golf complex, amazing courses BTW! I didn't bring my clubs, too much luggage to juggle already! And I forgot my golf shoes at home, so I started to play my round with borrowed, quite old clubs, and just my regular athletic shoes, the results were 6 over through 5, before the weather decided to open up. I know it's not a full round and I know I could have fallen apart the rest of my round, but all things considered I was surprised how well I actually played with old clubs and no golf shoes. Anyone else have good luck like this before???
