I'm just now figuring this out. Love their irons but I've noticed that their SW and GW don't seem to spin like others I've hit and surely don't check like my Cleveland LW. So after watching yet another well hit SW to a back pin release over the green I bought a Volkey. My first shot with it was one of those low one hop and stop beauties. I've since ordered their GW. You can get them used for $40.
Have no idea what took me so long |

What ball do you use? Does that matter? I can see how the forged Calloway wedge would bite but I'm talking about the cavity backed wedges that came with my set of X-18. I haven't had a chance to play much and for whatever reason haven't found myself in need of them from the fairway too often yet. But there is no doubt they will help me. |
